Shelia Burrell competed in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games and is a five-time U.S. Track and Field Champion in the heptathlon, a demanding two-day event consisting of the 100 meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200 meters, long jump, javelin and 800 meters.
Shelia has been named “Best Female All-Around Track and Field Athlete” and is the sole American to win a championship medal at an international competition since Jackie Joyner Kersee. She is also a motivational speaker to young people and adults, a corporate fitness consultant and a certified speed and conditioning coach.
At Callen Fitness, she applies her talent and competitive training knowledge to fitness programs that can be incorporated into any lifestyle. “If you want to look like an athlete, do what athletes do and train to perform better in your daily life,” says Shelia.
